“No Place Like Home” is a digital photo collage. Digital “paintings” begin with a blank computer screen. A background is composed of bits and pieces of pictures. Each piece is a separate layer. Then the main images are chosen, sized, toned and arranged. When everything looks right, all the layers are flattened into one permanent image. That is how I created “No Place Like Home”. I used Adobe Photoshop.

Materials Used: Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper or Fine Art Hahnemuhle All Cotton paper, depending on the size. Epson Ultra K3 Chrome Ink, Epson Premier Printshield Resistant Lacquer to protect against water and UV light. Be sure to hang your collage out of bright sunlight or ultra violet lighting.
